Eisenwerk Arnstadt has established itself as a leading European company in the production of brake block soles and brake blocks for international rail transport.
Brake blocks are characterised by an increased phosphorus content, which reduces sparking, increases service life and reduces wear on the wheel tyres. Originating from a special foundry of Deutsche Bahn, we set standards in the production of these safety-relevant components and cast according to all common qualities:
